Human Rights, in practice, means ‘live and let live’. Right to life is a human and fundamental right. That remains as the foundational concept of Human Rights. With that everything springs up.
You want to encroach upon your neighbour’s right to his life and privacy because he belongs to another religion or clsss or caste.
You want to terrorise people and even destroy their very existence because they are defenceless.
You want to kill innocent children by bombing their homes because they belong to a nation that does not want to do obeisance to you.
You produce and sell bombs to make money and supply them to rouge nations to bomb and bambard satanically.
You want to establish your hegemonic power in areas beyond your reach and therefore cause wars and cross-country enmities, and create havoc.
Dictators and rogue leaders, who trample on human rights get the blessings of even religious fundamentalists and preachers.
Our future depends on the rights we enjoy right now. Let no legislators, national leaders, judicial community, fundamentalists, economic giants or business enterprises, who devalue or deny human rights, be allowed to promote their prospects or be encouraged to flourish.
