We wish that our Indian nation forges ahead with a scientific outlook. Science looks for evidence. It promotes knowledge based on evidence through experiment and observation. Scientific understanding of how things function is the basis of progress and development.
We need to promote scientific knowledge as against hypotheses, guess work, and superstition etc. It is unfortunate that there are persons and groups who promote unscientific knowledge. Some promote superstition.
When the world is progressing at a galloping speed by promoting science, let not our nation be taken back to the dark ages of unscientific education or of its promotion, in any way, by religions, educational institutions, or fundamentalist groups or politicians.
