We celebrate World Animal Day to raise our own awareness that we are not alone on this planet. Animals are one vital segment of God’s creation co-travelling with us towards a destiny.
Animals are there not just for us or for our wellness only. They are part and parcel of the universe. They play important role in environmental protection.
We need to respect them. Use them as creatures as much as we need. Let us not over-exploit them for our greed. Let us not abuse them.
Some of us use them as pets. Let us not attribute only pet value to animals.
Let us see them as co-travellers, be they in the jungle or be they in our compound.
