We sadly remember those uprooted in life. Like Job in the Bible who became a refugee in his own home, when he lost all his wealth and even his children! Today’s refugees are waiting to see a silver lining in the dark clouds of life.
Shall we not join them to feel with them in their hopeless situation and to point to them to that silver lining in the menacing clouds?
Right to life is a human and fundamental right of every human being. Refugee problem is due to man-made disaster. Povery caused by exploitation, marginalisaztion and unequal distribution of resoruces is one major cause.
Wars, inter-tribal fights and govenments’ non-defelopmental policies also are other causes.
International agencies and world bodies like the UN should intervene strongly and effectively to adress and uproot the causes.
