We remember every year 31st May as the anti tobacco day. When we closely observe the situation around us we find that most of our people are consuming tobacco in various forms. It has really impacted badly at least some percentage of the population. From the sources we learn that global tobacco epidemic kills nearly six million people each year. It is indeed a matter of great concern for all of us.

There are so many companies which illegally manufacture drugs.  They  make it easily available to the ordinary people. As a result these simple people fall prey to all these intoxicating materials. Moreover, the students and the adults are the first victims of drugs.

Young people often start with just tasting of these drugs and they end up getting addicted to it. They do this due to various reasons. They consume it  sometimes because of unfair expectation and stress. The drugs make them feel high and quite relaxing. But its effects, in the long run, can damage their brain, liver, etc.

Students also get into this drug addiction when they fail to get emotional support. So, they turn themselves towards drugs to calm their agitation and anger. Excessive usage of these drugs destroys the health and csrier of the students and they may even suffer from several physical ailments.

Thus, a day like this is to think of such people who are affected by it and do something concretely so as to help them to overcome it. We need to put a collective effort to boycott and ban on tobacco and such other drugs. Advertising, promoting and sponsoring tobacco products must be banned .
