Food sources and food production in many countries are in good measure. Yet, a large section of the world’s population goes hungry.

Export of food products to get foreign currency very much arrests the process of equitable distribution and eliminating hunger.

Even farmers who produce food become victims of poverty due to lack of selling avenues and high cost of production.  Often, food stocks in go-downs get rotten, or rat-infested, or are allowed to get submerged in water.

Very often, poor people’s land is appropriated by governments and handed over to multinationals. Thus, many become landless and victims of poverty, unemployment, displacement, migration and even suicide.

Politicians who occupy seats of honour as governing leaders of the nation need to get educated so that they can plan and execute policies for the good of all population.
