The world salutes Captain Tom Moore, former British Army officer, on his 100th birthday on April 30th. But, before that date, he has already merited a very rare feather in his cap. This noble soul ventured out in his garden to walk around with the goal of fund raising in aid of NHS Charities.

With a walking frame he completed 100 laps of the 85 ft loop in his garden in Bedfordshire.

His aim was to raise one thousand Euros by his hundredth birth day. But, by 19th April he raised 26.7 million Euros. Moore was born on April 30, 1920. During the Second World War he served In India and Burma.

As Captain Moore reaches a century on April 30, Tribal Darshan applauds his great feat and wishes showers of God’s blessings on this great philanthropist.
